We started the tournament off with a 12-8 win against St Paul’s. Overall it was a good match, although there was still room for improvement.

Next we played Bishop Ramsey, where we got complacent and the game was a lot closer than it should’ve been. We managed to pull through with an 8-7 win although we could’ve played better together as a team and decreased the amount of silly mistakes we made.

Our next match was against CLGS where we started off a lot better than our previous game and kept that going throughout but there was still room for improvement as we were starting to make a few mistakes either end of the court, but overall a good win of 13-5.

Our next game was against Channing in which we carried through from our previous game, continuing to improve and managing to secure a great win of 10-2.

We then went on to play South Hampstead, and during the first minutes it was quite a close match with some great players, but after winning a few turnovers throughout the court we managed to secure an 11-3 win, our best match yet with good communication, few errors and great defensive and attacking plays.

We moved onto our next match against Notting Hill and Ealing, which was a good match maintaining good energy, and won 16-8, after being a bit complacent in the first half.

Our last match was against FHS Regents Park, which we won 11-4. It was a good match with good movement of the ball, and a good way to end the tournament.

We finished the Middlesex prelims undefeated, and are looking forward to the rest of the season and eventually the finals next year!
